On tap at Gabf. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is roast and cocoa. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, pine in the finish, very good.

On draft at the brewpub in Boulder CO. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malt nose. Flavors of cocoa and licorice. Medium bodied. Bitter roast finish.

Tap at Vine Street - another solid stout from this brewer - hefty, creamy, chewy - loads of bittersweet chocolate and bitter espresso, augmented nicely by moderate earthy hops bitterness and notes of soil - finishes with cocoa and some mild astringency, but otherwise this is a solid brew.
