Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard. I was lucky to get one of the old ones last year. bbf 2011-01-22. clear brown/amber/red (red-brown) large super smooth offwhite head. strong aroma of various kinds of berries, fresh citrussy berry-jam. practically no bitterness. flavor is sweet berry jam, citrussy note, fruitpeely bitter note, sweet malts, sweet dark fruits. It is a bit cloying due to the sweetish malty bitterness or sweetish dark fruity bitterness also present.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Redcurrant, Blueberry and Cherry! Suprisingly not that sweet but quite fruity (duh!). Malty aftertaste. Easy drinking.

Bottle @ Amby. Reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma and taste of sweet beeries, cherrie and sugar. Medium body, low carbonation. Not bad, but way to sweet for my liking.101120

Botle that I picked up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgium 31-10-09 Pours rich bloody red in colour with a light pinky head. The aroma is of a sweet shop idea of fruitiness, there is sugar, syrup and fruit concentrate in abundance. Taste is waaayyy too sweet but I have to confess its not unlikeable and actually rather moreish, there are strawberries, cherries and some redcurrant possibly. There is no denying that its a sweet shop idea of a beer, though I for one quite enjoyed it, maybe I needed a sugary fix at the time? A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear red ruby colour thick lasting cream head. Sweet jammy red fruit aroma. This is just not very good. Some stewed fruit in mouth, but not very attractive. Just a bit artificial and crap really. Can I have a beer I like please as the last 3 have ended up down the sink?

Bottle at Poechenellekelder. Dark amber with a rocky beige head. Interesting woodsy aroma. Med. body with fine carbonation. Rather woodsy and berry in flavor. Perhaps a touch of funk? Dry. Very interesting. Rerate: 07/17/09 Pours reddish amber with a large white head. Mixed berry aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Flavor is mixed berry - raspberry being prominent. Cherry is not far behind. Underlying caramel. Sweet. Finishes that way! Just a tad too sweet for me, but a refreshing break from the usual. 7/4/6/4/14 Not much change there.

21/11 0.33 l bottle @ Hopdevil, Zagreb. This poured red, murky body with medium head. fine wildberries aroma, a bit cheesy though. Flavor is quite similar, sweet to sourish berries, plums and other fruits, but no real beer felt. Pleasant and definitely refreshing, alcohol is not felt at all, maybe just a little bit in aroma in some medicinal way, but simply I can’t like fruit beers when they don’t have any beer character. Like drinking a good fruit juice.
