Crimson red brew, moderate pink head. Heavy sweet cherry on nose and tongue. Wheat as well. Way too sweet.

Bottle from the brewery. Many thanks! Red colour, medium carbonation. Nose of sweet candy, grenadine, syrup. Very sweet with light tart notes. Liquid cherry candy.

Sweet cherry beer based on Pax Pils - in fact, except from something similar made in Germany, this is the only ’kriek’ I know of which is based on a ’pils’. Bright red with thin pink head, very sweet, cloying, fruit candy, grenadine. Needless to say, nothing of the basic beer is noticeable. Not for my taste at all but I must admit it has a certain ’old school’ flair I can sympathize with.

Slightly unclear light red colour, large pinkish foamy head, recedes quickly to thin layer, sticky lacing. Aroma candy sugar, tart, cherry, cinnamon, almond/marzipan. Taste light heavy sweet, quite artificial, marzipan tones. Light to medium body, sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet sticky finish, so so.

horeca 13 pours fuzzy, pink , small white foam smells like cuberdon’s ( red noses - cherrycandy in belgium, not sure if everybody knows this ) rather high carbo tastes like cuberdons, pretty familiar, i drank something quita alike this before, but im not sure on what it was anymore ..

Bottle @ Odense September Tasting, 2012. Pours hazy pink with a small white head. Stikcy and syrupy. Maad sugar. Heavy almond and marzipan.

Bottle. Pours pinkish. Off white head. Nose of cherry pie and cherry juice. Some hints of caramel candy. Taste is mostly cherry, pie crust and unidentifiable sweetness. Less artificial tasting than some krieks. I don’t get that dietary sugar feel to it that I get with some others. Still, its a bit thin and more like a cherry juice than a beer.
