Blanche du Paradis is a Belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander seeds and Curaçao orange peels, the spices traditionnally found in this classic style. Unfiltered and containing almost as much raw wheat as malted barley, it presents a veil of yeast and proteins giving this style its "Blanche" name. Round and light at the same time, it exhales fresh baked bread aromas, and reveals spices and citrus flavours, accompanied by subtle notes of acidity coming from the wheat.

341mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, clove and wheat. Flavour is quite citrusy, wheaty and florally, with coriander and dandelion notes. Light body, with a heavy floral and citrus finish. Quite nice for the style.

Refrigerated bottle compliments of pushkinwow, poured into a weizen glass.. Pours hazy golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium/thin body, and coriander aroma. Taste is acidic zesty citrus, some bready wheat, and a hint of coriander.

12oz Bottle I brought back from Canada. Pours out a cloudy straw topped with a white head. Aroma was lemon zest, spice, and light wheat. Taste was more of the lemon/citrus, sweet wheat, and some spice.

Brought back from Canadia by my petit frere: Pours a hazy yellow, with a pretty nice white head. Aroma of lemon and spices. Taste has some hop bitterness in there. Lots of lemon. Plenty of spices. Very pleasant mouthfeel, almost creamy in there. Floral notes in there as well. Quite a good witbier methinks.

Glad to see LCBO carrying Dieu du Ciel beers, and comes in a single bottle. Pours a cloudy light beige colour with a small white cap (pretty small actually) and gives a bit of lacing. Good tiny bubble carbonation. Witbier yeast aromas with nice coriander. Pretty refreshing mouthfeel that is not too watery. Coriander still present in the taste with some slight bitterness in the finish and mild vanilla coming out in the aftertaste. Not my favorite white beer, but pretty good overall (and nice to see more and more of their brews made available in bottles).

Bottle 341ml.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, citrus, moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100109]
