Dark brownish pour from karbach. Some candy/caramel and dark fruit along with brandy notes.

Bottle. A- Apple brandy, caramel. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Apple brandy, butterscotch, cola, caramel, cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- This was a fine brandy aged beer. Fine indeed. At 3 years of age, the brandy imparted lovely flavors. Was worried it might be sweet and cloying and malty but fairly complex.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong toasted malt, dark fruit, oak, tobacco. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy finish, very good.
