Bottle 75cl. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, light malty, toasted, spices, light coriander, light orange. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (261007)

Bottled. Hazy deep yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is herbs, yeast, malts and hops. Flavour is herbs, spices, hops, yeast and some hints of bread. Pleasant and refreshing.

Bottle, sat outside my tent with this beer I’d picked up at the Spar shop Ypres 24-07-07. A pleasant ale that pours almost brown in colour, nice chewy sweetness large white frothy head, not a lot more to add but fine enough.

Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Gold colour, cloudy. Yeasty Belgian citrus blond. Fine, if very much to its style.

Hazy golden colour with a white head. Yeasty and spicy aroma. . Sweet malty flavor. smooth mouthfeel with a slightly sweet finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pale, hazy ale with a nice creamy head. Pronounced yeasty nose with lots of diacetyl too. Sweetnes cut of by a rather harsh bitterness. Bottle fermented and very typical Belgian. "Vlas" or "Lin" means linseed and I’m wondering if it’s actually in the beer. The label shows harvesting of linseed. 010305

Slightly hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma is very yeasty, bit fruity of citrus, bit spicy of coriander. Spicy and yeasty taste, sweet, dry and bitter. Slightly sticky palate.

Hazy orange with yellow-greenish shine, peach-like; fluffy yellowish head. Citrussy nose, a bit of vanillapap, somewhat soapy finish. Dash of coriander - or saffron!? Quite dry, spicey taste - this time definitely coriander. Idly wondering if this might have actually linseed in it? Yeasty, nearly meaty notes as well. Finish has a tad acidity. Dry, but at the same time creamy MF & texture; only medium bodied.The saffron nose is interesting - as might be the linseed question. The rest much less. Decent summer ale, I’d say.
