The Saison Dupont Bio* is a top fermentation, blond beer with refermentation in the bottle. Created in 1990 and together with the Moinette Bio*, one of the two first organic* beers. The Saison Dupont bio* is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness. You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect. The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer. The production is being controlled by Certisys and has the label Biogarantie®.

Clear golden with high carbonation and quickly diminishing head. Yeast aroma with citrus and hints of banana. Fresh taste of citrus and various fruits like apple and pear. Medium bitterness.

Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Hazy amber with a head. Gentle styled saison with good Belgian yeast flavours.

Bottle drunk after interior doors were installed, what a coup! Wow. Mostly clear amber, big puffy head, citrus and fresh hay nose, very nice. Slim body, nice tartness, great mix of light wild farmhouse and mild malt. Good clean hop bitterness that doesn't overwhelm the rest. Delicious!

Keg at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Aroma is fruity, citrus, apple. Yrastie streak. Clear gold. Foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. Citrusy. Slightly vinous. Develops fruity sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Punchy Saison.

330ml shared with Ryan at the hotel lobby in Brussels. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: malty, a bit peppery. Taste: same, quite sharp, with strange grassy/hay hops bitterness. Overall: not a fan.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 01/2025 from a corner store). Clear blonde with full white head. Saison yeast, touch of spice and pepper, very feint lemon note. Decent.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca media grana persistente, colore giallo smorto velato, al naso lievito Dupont scorza d’arancia spezie pepe note floreali, in bocca spezie frutta gialla coriandolo, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, amaro moderato, asciutta. Va giù benissimo in questa serata torrida d’estate, poi con gli spiedini di pollo al curry…. Sempre TOP ma un punto in meno rispetto la sorella non bio….. c. Bottega della birra Arona 23.07.22
