hop: Simcoehop, Lublinhop
mout: Pilsmout (gerst), tarwemout, speltmout en havervlokken
temp 4-6°C
Vol. % alc 6

----------------------------------------------------------

Carrousel beer was brewed for the first time at the request of cultural centre 30CC (Leuven) to celebrate the unique folk festival in Kessel-Lo on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Master brewer Marc selected four grains and some hops varieties to create a unique lager with a distinctive fresh and fruity character. The beer is made with spelt malt which adds a slight acidity to the beer. We use a new hops variety, CITRA, which gives this beer its refreshing citrus character. With taste evolution, unfiltered and unpasteurized.

Fermentation: Low fermentation and secondary fermentation in the bottle
hops: Citra hops, Saaz hops
malt: Pilsner malt (barley) and spelt malt
temp: 4-6°C

Huge, very light-yellow head over hazed, strawcoloured beer. Floral, mainly spicy; bit of solvent too, mucus. Rather bitter, and again quite spicy - herbal flavour. Some citrus, finish has a touch of restsugars. Very spritzy MF, at the edge of overcarbonated; medium bodied and slick. Nice enough.
