Draft at Das Alpenhaus. Rich golden color, persistent creamy off-white head, streaky lacing. Malty aroma, with some light hop presence. Taste is much hoppier than the nose. Crisp and malty.

33cl Fles bij BRLO. Mistig, lichtoranje kleur, vuilwitte kraag.

Best before 02/25, opening this bottle yesterday, after a busy day, at night. For me, it was a good experience, good ipa, medium body, malty, good bitterness, citrus, a bit fruity, resinous note, aromatic, refreshing, good deal at any

Amber colour and firm white head. Bready, grassy, fruity nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar to nose: sweetish grassy, bready flavour. Probably old.

Not had a beer for a few days and I need to get back into the saddle for tomorrow. A good friend is joining us for lunch and I think the wheels could come off. Anyway, this really isn't great. Not much flavour, but I am still recovering from a cold. Not great to look at either.

Tasty in general. On the sweet side. Notes of sun-kissed grains, dry caramel, ripening citrus, grainy bread, mild bitter rind and pine. Deep gold, malty. Effervescent and massaging. A little golden raisin. Enjoyable as a departure from the haze.

Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy amber body with a few flecks beneath a light haze and an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of marmalade and Lockets. Flavour of sweet malt and sweet pear. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. I thought this was excellent - hoppy yet malty-sweet.
