Der jüngste Zuwachs im Sortiment der BRLO Braukunst aus Berlin ist das German IPA. Hinter dem Namen steckt ein unfiltriertes India Pale Ale, das mit den drei Hopfensorten Comet, Hüll Melon und Polaris eingebraut wird. Kräftig kaltgehopft, mit ordentlich „Wumms“ und anständig bitter – so wie es Braumeister Michael gerne mag.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D’s place. Thanks Vova. Hazy golden. Aroma of malt, caramel, cardboard, vegetables, and a light hoppy note. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, bread, honey hint, a bit of cardboard, a bit of vegetables, and a light bitterish hops note.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As BRLO German IPA ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, peppery hops, barley wine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, barley, light hoppy, peppery hops, barley wine alike malt profil note.
