Bottle at BRLO taproom, Berlin, 11/07/19. Almost clear golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is orange peel, toasted malts and grains, citric kissed straw, a touch muted. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, grass, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. So so affair.

Bottle. Clear dark gold with a nice white head. Aroma of melons, red berries, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, perfume and a little bit of citrus fruits. Taste of melons, fruits of the forest, malts, caramel, some honey and resin. Herbal bitterness. Medium carbonation. I’m not yet really sold on the concept of an all-German IPA but perhaps the next attempt I get my hands on will have a flavour profile more suited to my taste.

Bottle picked up from a large Kaufland be Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 10th March 2021 listening to Marc Riley on 6Music playing. We have the remainder of the Chicken Parm Roll-Ups from Sunday for tea tonight. This is a lovely IPA, really good, okay it's a little bit sweet and I am not a fan of the soapy, washing up liquid aroma but putting that to one side it has a nice bitterness, pleasant maltiness, perhaps could do with a little bit more bite but, nice, really nice.

Goed bier.

Many thanks for this beer to my uncle from Essen.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, lacing off-white head. Nose is caramellish with a slight hint of perfumy hops. Medium body, dry caramel notes, slightly biscuity with a bitter finish. IPA's like they were 10-15 years ago seems to be the norm for how the Germans make them. 200820
