75 cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. (Note: label says 9.5% ABV, so is this a new entry? Admins: please correct and move my rating if I’m wrong) Hazy orange color with some yeast residu floating in it. Medium sized off-white head that lasts for a while. Smell some malts, lightly herbs or spices, some fruitpeel-bitter. Taste malts, fruitpeel, some herbs or spices, a bit herbal bitter. Medium body, fizzy carbonation that makes me burp. Ok beer.

Bottle says 9,5%, feel free to correct me. Hazy golden colour with a full sized white head. Smells malty, sugar, raisins, wood, whisky. Tastes sweet, sugary, some whisky. Very thin and watery, nice carbo.

Upon opening, huge UFO’s and other chunks getting agitatedly mad in the bottle; no gushing but all the same the glass gets filled with 4/5’s of dense white head, leaving shards of lace over unclear yellow beer with a greenish sheen. Very spicy (rosemary, sage, coriander,...) nose, sharpish, with citrus, chalk, dishwashing liquid, blossoms. Spicy and very faintly smoked or ashy; again citus (lemonsquash) in the background. Non-sweet lemoncookies with some weird dry spicing. Warming up, gets notably sweeter. Very spritzy, refreshing; slick, not very well-bodied. I can dig this. Tim, where the hell did you find all that smoke and rotting? Bad bottle, yours?

9/X/2012 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ Klaas' place - BB: n/a (2012-1123)

Clear bright yellow beer, big aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very smoky, overripe to rotten fruits, very nasty. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: bit sweet, grains, quite some smoke, overripe fruits, plums, little bitter, some overripe banana. Aftertaste: little bitter, smoky, some yeast, bit hoppy. Now I like smoked beers, let that be clear. But this one doesn't work for me AT ALL.
