Aroma of light malt, fruits, yeast, sugar, spices. Flavour is sweet with a light bitter finish. Some alcohol noticeable. Too sweet and cloying for me.

Tight off white head on a hazy orange/amber body. Yeast, orange & bitter aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth with cloying back. Orange, yeast, confectionery, & marmalade tastes with a sweeter tangy finish. Nice one.

28 May 2018. At Café Cambrinus. Shared with Anke.
Pours clear golden with a lasting, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. The aroma contains bready malt, grain, citrus, cookie, vanilla, honey, hot apple & pear, smoked bacon even. It tastes light to medium malty sweet, a bit bready & fruit, and light grainy bitter, yeast & citrus in theback. Dry, grainy finish, lingering bread & yeast. Light to medium body, slick texture, soft, almost flat, carbonation. I'd choose the brown version over this one, even though I'd recommend any other beer to tourists visiting the Cambrinus restaurant.
