We made gold-fair, clear degustatiebier of 7,2°. it is of barley malt, leaven, water and of course Poperingse hops composed. What concerns the taste, is the first what the presence of a large hop bitterness is notable.

14/XII/14 - 33cl bottle @ my parents' place - BB: III/2015 (2014-1510) Thanks to my dad for sharing the bottle!

Clear blond beer, big creamy off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very herbal, grassy hops, bit metallic, bit of citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, sweet malty touch, bitter hops, metallic, grassy, bit soapy. Aftertaste: a little fruity, metallic touch, yeasty, little bitter, sweet. Don't like the metallic flavours, but other than that it's not such a bad beer.

Bottle @ Brasserie Cornelius, Brugge. Golden amber with a thin head and a very small carbonation. Has a solid texture, but not blessed too much in both aroma and taste with a light smattering of its style evident in both these aspects.

Commissioned beer with snow white, stable, sticky head and clear golden blond colour. Aroma of apple peel, cardboard, bread, vanilla, straw, buttermilk, iron. Dry fruity taste, bit apple-like, metallic, pale malt sweetishness, sharpish carbo, supple mouthfeel, light grassy hops in the finish but otherwise a bit watery. The bottle was probably not fresh enough.

Bottle @ Cambrinus, Brugge. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy head. Lively carbonation - champagne yeast like notes. Fruit and grassy hops. Smooth with a whiff of metal.
