250 ml bottle, bb 89. Amber, clear body, without head. Aroma is very oxidized, like sherry, overripe fruits, wood, honey. Tastes similar, with a Samos-like impression. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with no carbonation. Finishes sweet, medium dry, with honey, overripe fruits, sherry. Interesting. A framboise or beer character is completely gone, tastes like a sweet dessert wine. Pleasant to drink though and an interesting experience. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 14

0,25l bottle at home. BB 1989. redish brown / amber color, no head. smells very oxidized, honey, spices, sweet wine notes, nice smell. light body, no carbonation. tastes oxidized, candy, honey, sweet wine, sherry, mead like notes. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of oxitation, sweet wine notes, sherry. quite nice one actually, but not really decernible as a beer anymore. more like oxidized alcohol. 7, 4, 7, 3, 14

5,7% on the label. Raspberry in the aroma. Dusty and a bit citric. Dusty and bitter flavor with raspberry. Bitter aftertaste. Very dry and dusty mouthfeel. Ithought this was a sugary beer with artificial raspberry flavors, but this is a totally different beer. Not my favorite, though.

From old tasting notes. Hazy, pinkish copper color.msmall white head. Sweet, yeasty red fruit aroma. Tart fruity malt flavor has obvious berry overtones. Fruit flavor is on the tart side.

Big ass bottle @ Bill’s 40th birthday party. Pinkish red appearance with a thin head. Some berries, light funk, tons of dust. There’s a hint of butter. Light citrus. Goopy cough syrup note. Kind of thick mouth feel. This was from 1991, so obviously that should be taken into account but none of Belle-Vue’s products have ever impressed me, so I’m not surprised I didn’t like this one all that well.

Bottle @ home. Pink colour, some foam. Lively carbonation. Sweet aroma of candy with light tart notes. Some artificial flavours. Not very good.

Typical sweetened framboise with very low lambic character, since 1986; deep dark red, pinkish head, very sweet grenadine character, syrupy and sugary, with lemonade-like ascorbic acid, some very faint bitterishness still noticeable in the finish but overall, cloyingly sweet. Too sweet for my tooth.

Bit sweet, but luckily there is some raspberry taste that seems real. Not special, but drinkable and decent.
