Roodbruin bier met enorm veel schuim, deel spuit uit de fles bij openen. Smaak is bitter hoppig, licht zoetzuur met iets van karamel. Mogelijk is de receptuur iets aangepast omdat een eerdere rating minder goed was. Etiket is in elk geval gewijzigd.

Bonito color miel. Espuma efervescente. Agria en aroma y en sabor. Choca al principio. Disgusta. Pero el trago siguiente mejora y el siguiente mas. Mejora el inicio lo suficiente para aprobar.

Gushy fucker! Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Light airy cream. Weird medicinal note. Nuts. Dry caramel malt sweetness and tang. Airy finish brings a little floral bitterness. A bit odd when all is said and done but not terrible.

Bottle Wallington Beer Fest 2014. Gusher! It pours murky brown with a thick beige head. The nose is soft, sweet, fruity, pear, apple, boiled sweet, earth and toasted brown bread. The taste is toasty, earthy, mild acidity, dried fruits, slight burned notes, light alcohol, candy sugar, pear drops, spice and brown bread with dry finish. Medium body and high carbonation. No real depth to it. A pretty basic Belgian bruin.

Nice Belgian bruin beer. Not very special, just average. Enjoyable though, that’s something.

Bottle Pours dark amber, but for a beer that is actually called ’ brown ’ as the name, this is too light . Small white head Smell is a bit sweet... Taste is very thin, metallic , sugary but not too sweet, and so unintence .. Medicinal ...

33cl bottle @ home. Clear sort of dimmed, matt red color, small off-white to beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell sourness, green apple, sour fruits. Tastes almost the same: sourness, sour fruits, some sugar and a bit weird. Like Blondje this is just not what I like or it’s a bad bottle.

29/X/12 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - bottled: V/11 (2012-1217)

Clear red to reddish brown beer, irregular aery off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, cow fodder, stable, caramel, toast, pretty German, like Schwarzbier or Dunkel. Also some raisins, brown candi sugar, some vegetables. MF: too much carbon, medium body. Taste: nasty sour start, red berries, some red wine vinegar, little bit of grains and caramel. Aftertaste: sour, a bit earthy, tobacco, little bitter, sour red berries, watery ending.
