Overhead is the perfect beer for celebrating after you’ve had a choppy day that got a little hectic but in the end, you rode it out like a champ. Overhead is our 8.2% Imperial IPA loaded with our favorite hops; Amarillo, Simcoe, Citra, and Columbus, and includes two rounds of dry hopping to create a cascade of pine, resin, and citrus hop flavors that consume your palate. Similar to Head High in its unique flavor, but a completely different experience due to the brewing process which produces a dry, crisp finish.

0,473l can from J&B Craft Drinks online store. Canned 12/27/23. Murky yellow beer with huge and stable head. Aroma has hops, dank and fruits. Flavor has soapy notes and exotic, mainly citrusy fruits. Bit stale and too old.

Can from Chris M: barely hazed orange with white head. Grapefruit and biscuit aromas. Clean citrus with well put together malt backbone. This is one of the things Kane pulls off very well.

Tall can (thx, Robert B.!) broken by Vika on parking lot. Appearance: murky golden with a white head. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits with some freshness. Taste: juicy, tropical fruits, low to moderate sweet, tropical fruits bitterness. Overall: very nice.

Poured from can thanks Stacey orange with alot of floaties amd a white head. Aroma is caramel malt candied orange citrus pith floral hops pine. Taste is slightly sweet orange mango aromatic hops and a nice piney finish.

16 oz. can carried home from the brewery by Stacey. Cloudy straw color. Aroma shows strong citrus, light bready malt, light pine.
Citrus and tropical flavor upfront. Grounded by bready malts. Sweet is balanced by a mild pine like bitterness. If I search of a negative, it would be the hint of alcohol. But overall, still damn fine driving.

Got in a BIF from MacMalt. 16 ounce can into signature tulip glass, canned on 2/21/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.2%. Overall this is an amazing DIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and extremely easy to drink for the ABV with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Perfectly balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet for the ABV. Loved the classic hop profile as expected. A highly enjoyable offering.
