What a funny label! Medicinal strawberry and mintaroma and flavor It seems horrid, but it isn't. Sweet, rather artificial and a bit sticky. peppermint and strawberry marmelade aftertaste. Weird, but not unpleasant. Even my almost-non-beerdrinking wife Diane loved it.

Roodbruin bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is zoet en fruitig, framboos, aardbei en bessen. Is net iets te chemisch wat mij betreft maar desondanks goed te drinken.

Bottle. nicely tart raspberry nose. Sweet candy raspberry flavor, too syrupy and cloying. Not very nice.

33 cl. shared bottle, poured in to a Flute. Hazy, red-brown colour with a dense, pink-ish head. Sweet aroma with raspberries, strawberries, caramel malts, only a subtle, acidic note. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a lively carbonation and a creamy texture. Finishes sweet and fruity with raspberries. Rather sweet Fruit Beer, albeit not unpleasant.

Pours dark amberbrown, small white head is consistant. Smell is awefull, chemically sweet. and pure poepegattekes ( belgian candy that usually is only common in chemical cherrie beers ) Taste is sweet, and again poepegattekes, with a touch of different aspect ( the chemical raspberrie flavor ) yes, overall this beer contains more sugar than my sugarjar, and the taste itself is not too nice as well. No ’amour’ for this beer, i’m afraid. Also, WHERE THE HELL is the sour aspect mentionned in the deScription ? You liars....

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of raspberry, hints of cherry, all with an artificial jelly baby touch. Taste is very sweet fruity, red fruit, cherry, raspberry, citric acid as counterweight, maybe a floral touch of marzipan and rose blossoms. Way too sweet but yummy.

28/XII/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ holiday - BB: n/a (2014-1546)

Clear reddish amber beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of Amaretto, marzipan, almonds, sugary, sweet liqueur. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sugary and sweet, lots of Amaretto, some orange peel, marzipan. Aftertaste: sugary, Amaretto, sweet, marzipan, some Maraschino cherries. A bad excuse for a beer.
