This beer is our homage to the beginning of autumn. Deep, roasted coconut flakes combined with rich coffee beans and a fresh malt flavor for an easy-drinking porter reminiscent of coco coffee ice cream. This decadent sweet treat blends the relaxed atmosphere of the islands with the punchy energy of the city of Berlin.

Picked up from Biervana, Munich Germany, consumed Saturday 17th November 2018 in our hotel room. Pours black not that much of a head. Chocolate on the nose and in the mouth, soft mouthfeel, coconut and coffee, it's fine but truth be told I am a little disappointed. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Tap at Craft Beer Gallery. Roast forward beer, but a sofy coffee-cocoa roastiness, with not a hint of burnt element. Very soft, easy drinking, rich malty dark beer.

At a tasting, thanks, small thick bubbly head, coffee, earthy, toasty aroma with some vanilla, a hint of wax and a whiff of spice, flavor of coconut and nut with some almond and herbs coming through and alcohol showing but not heavy. Very nice and enjoyable, really interesting.

24/X/18 - 50cl can @ Syntra Asse, canned: 15/VIII/18, BB: 12/V/19 - (2018-1603)
Clear dark brown beer, aery irregular light beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of coffee, some caramel, mocha, hint of chocolate, bit butty, where's the damn coconut? Not getting much pow here... MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, very roasted, lots of coffee, mocha, some chocolate. Aftertaste: bit sourish, green coffee, was expecting at least a bit of coconut, but this is really just a coffee beer. Tasted with 10 of my Zythology students in a blind tasting, nobody got any coconut.
