This beer is our homage to the beginning of autumn. Deep, roasted coconut flakes combined with rich coffee beans and a fresh malt flavor for an easy-drinking porter reminiscent of coco coffee ice cream. This decadent sweet treat blends the relaxed atmosphere of the islands with the punchy energy of the city of Berlin.

Keg at Fierce Bar, Aberdeen. It pours opaque, jet black with a small beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, filter coffee, toasted coconut, dull vanilla, chocolate, bit of fruit cake and spice. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, coffee, cacao nibs, quite dry, oily, toasted coconut, dark chocolate bounty bar, ashy, earthy roast, wood, leather and some alcohol warmth. Finish is dry and of dark chocolate. Medium body and average carbonation. Almost a bit to top dry and savoury on the taste. Maybe a touch more sweetness would provide more balance. Not bad.
