You are holding a pure artisan craft ale, free of any additives. This is a real ale. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, so a small amount of sediment in the bottom of the bottle is natural. South Plains RIP is made with North American hops to balance the huge amounts of English malts that give this dark ale it’s complex and generous flavor. Imperial Porter is a style that is higher in alcohol, bearing more flavor than traditional porters. Store this beer in a cool, dark place. When it’s young it’s very heartwarming. As it ages it will get smoother and smoother.

Svart med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter halslinser, mest søtlige lukter, mørke bær, bjørnebær, gummigodis, sjokolade og lett kaffe. Smaker søt kaffemokka, noe salt lakris og bær. Middels pluss i fylde. Noe kakaopulver. Salt lakris dominerer utover.

Bottle at KØ15. Good coffee aroma, hint of sweet jam. Black colour. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is very roasted with a good coffee note. Fruity and grassy hop flavour, good jam. Late fresh-ground coffee aftertaste.

Bottle, KØ15. Pours cloudy dark coffee brown with airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, roast and caramel malt. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish kotes of chocolate and malt and touches of coffee. Roasty aftertaste. Low carbonation. Decent.

Black color with a big beige head. The big beige head was due to a really rich carbonation. The lively carbonation destroyed it a bit. To fizzy. Otherwise some cacao, chocolate and coffee. Would have been decent with a more moderate carbonation.

Bottle fromt rade with Cunningham, many thanks Henrik. Almost black colored beer with huge beige head towering over my glass. Roasted malt, dark chocolate with distinct tartness in aroma. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice in taste overlapped with strong brett tartness. I am not sure if this was intended, but it turned out to tasty beer.
