On tap at The Arsenal, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with floral, dank hops upfront, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite pleasing, with fresh floral hops, some gentle tropical fruitiness, and a toasted biscuity malt base. Lovely hops here. So much more interesting than almost every blonde out there. Very good.

Poured at Shelton Festival, hazy yellow with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is floral and tropical fruit. Medium body, mango, melon, nice bitterness, juicy, very good.

A hazed blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with light resinous German hops, light mineral notes, fragrant and pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with light resinous hops, light citrus, light mineral notes, refreshing and smooth. On tap at Brewer's on the block, DC 2017.

Shelton Brothers pour. Tropical fruit nose with mango and pineapple shining with a touch of citrus. Grassy on the palate with some lemon, a touch of grain. Clean finish with a touch of bitterness. A fun new-world kolsch.

Draft at Owen’s Ordinary, 11/20/16. Clear gold, decent white head. Musky, fruity, and herbal. Bit grassy as well. Hot for the style. Clean and drinkable. Pretty good.

On tap at Bluejacket. Not feeling the love that’s been dished out for this. Lacking the crisp bite and frothy, lively nature of the original. Soft, grainy aroma and taste, dry finish, but could use a little "pop".

Draft - Bright Pomello and Mandarin citrus. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light citrus and grains with a clean finish. Most fun I have had with a Kolsch.
