Tap at the Cascade Barrel House. Pours a translucent cherry color with a large white head. Aroma is mixed raspberry and zest with a touch of pale stone fruit. Sort of smells like breakfast fruits. Wow. Med body or so, but the fruit flavors are very up front. The other fruits tend to hold down the raspberry. Makes be wonder whether the “brewers” calculate the result or depend on the beer gods. Whatever, this one turned out really well. It’s probably complex, but it is so pleasant I’m not feeling confused.

On tap at Cascade, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tangerine peel and raspberries upfront, with oak. Flavour is quite complex, with lots of acidic pithy raspberries, tangerine peel, and oak. Acidic and boozy, with bourbon and tannic notes on the finish. Wonderful.
