This has a weird finish. Old attic dust that cloys. Hazy brown pour with decent head. Weird vibe here. Florals. Some oak. Bottle.

8.4 oz can. Pours and orange/mahogany with full head. Aromas of candied orange, floral caramel, dried stoned fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of dried orange, caramel, apricot and toasted malts with possibly some sweet sherry. Interesting.

Hazy amber/brown beer, thin white head. Smells of the sherry, with some wood in there too. Flavour is warming sweet sherry, vanilla, malt, the barrel again. Nice body, very smooth, far too drinkable.

Bottle. A- Sherry, musty, oak, tobacco, leather, almond. A- Brown color, cloudy liquid, beige head. T- Wood, faint smoke, malt, molasses, burnt caramel, sweet, licorice, leather. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- 2016 bottle, drank at 6 years vintage. Almost too much complexity. Wood notes are the strongest and some booziness still lingering. A lot to like about it but too many flavors calling for attention. Solid brew but not my favorite of the variants.
