Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a nice medium size foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of residual sugar notes with some fruity and candy-like ester with some Belgian malt. Taste is also dominated by sugary notes with some candy-like ester with some Belgian malt notes. Body is full for style with medium carbonation and no alcohol note really apparent. Enjoyable but a bit sweeter then I would like.

Getting my Missouri heritage fix today. I’d have liked to see a better beer from these guys for something titled grand cru but then that is often the case with breweries. A case of trying too hard perhaps. Pours blonde with good head and lacing. Light florals and a hint of citrus. Light tangy sweet finish. Tap at scion.

Sampled at the Funky 8 - Brooklyn, NYC. Big and sweet, faintly tangy. Dark fruits, raisins, caramel, bread. Some booze. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with sugary malts and further dark, rich and ripe fruits. Decent.

750 ml bottle into snifter. Purchased from The Party Source, Bellevue, KY. Bottled on 12/15/11. Damn, really?? I bought this in December 2012. The aroma was fruity Belgian yeast, sugar and pale malts. Cloudy gold with tons of tiny particles of yeast floating around the glass. Flavor is Belgian yeast, lots of fruity notes. (Mostly apricot) some candy sugar notes and a slight alcohol touch in the finish. Very fruity with lots of yeast. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall sweet and fruity but pretty good and holds true to the style.
