12 oz bottle, labelled with Stout Bout Hall of Fame Exclusive. Brown, porter-ish pour with a thick tan head. Light smell of chocolate milk, with little malt roast in the nose. Taste is similarly light. No over-roast malt, except I still get a bit more chocolate here than the vanilla. Still a nice mild flavored stout instead of a pastry bomb.

5 oz. pour on tap at the Bottleworks. It's a virtually opaque black (cola brown) with thin cap of beige head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt over vanilla and lactose. Taste is strong vanilla and lactose over roasted malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of vanilla and lactose but it covers up the base stout--adjuncts overwhelm the beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a translucent cola brown color. Literally no head to speak of. Aroma is roasted malt with notes of coffe and vanilla. Flavor is light coffee and chocolate malt with hints of vanilla and soybean paste. Thin bodied as stouts go. Smooth and easy drinking, but disappointing overall.

Pour is a very dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is a bakers chocolate with some whipped cream. Flavor has more vanilla than the aroma and I also get more of a bitter chocolate. The problem with this beer is it is lacking a malt presence. It is a bit thin but it has plenty of vanilla flavor as advertised.

Bottle thanks to Greg. Pours a pitch black color with a small white head. A big sweet roasty chocolate nose. Big vanilla, chocolate, caramel, a dark fruit roast element that is great. Not over the top lactose or vanilla which is great.
