Bottle shared by tfontana. Aroma of soft chocolate, weak rye, spice. Flavor is the same with a soft mild spice finish. No alcohol finish, which is pleasant. But fuck the milk stouts! Thank the god Lord TJ saw this style. I could be dead in three hours!!!

2021 500mL bottle shared by tfontana on 1/11/25. Dark mahogany with garnet highlights. Bubbly tan head, small. Clear. Prune, raisin, licorice, light lactose. Some dark ash. Lightly spicy but not too much. Dark chocolate, strong spice, black pepper, no alcohol and good balance. A bit pruney. Soft, malty, creamy, a bit roasty and full of dark chocolate. Not too much barrel. A bit of floral, rye, nutty and balancing spice. It's very balanced, not alcoholic and there's no lactose character, thankfully.

Bottle pour from the brewery. Opaque dark brown with no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, rye whiskey. Taste is sweet roasted malt, rye bourbon. Smooth, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Nice balance, decent strength.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head. The aroma is dark fruit, wood, raisin, licorice. Slick body, dark chocolate, licorice, raisin, dates, wood, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
