Sampled from bottle. Clear, very dark ruby to black. Sweetish-malty, quite boozy and a little fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, liquor and a touch of prunes. Fairly sweet, malty, very boozy and minimally fruity taste of molasses, loads of booze and traces of dark fruits, followed by a very long, heavily boozy finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, flat. Hardly drinkable, way too boozy for me.

Sample. Many thanks for this beer to Koelschtrinker. Ta probka wydaje sie taka sama jak wersja zwykla, ale w smaku juz sie da wyczuc roznice. Wyglad czarny, kleisty, bez piany, zapach likieru ziolowego, czuc spirytus wnet. Smak mocno goracy, rozgrzewa w pierwszej fazie potem pojawiaja sie rodzynki, daktyle, miod gryczany, oj sporo tu tej gryki. Slodko miodowo i rozgrzewajaco.

Bottle - Soy sauce, meat and odd peppery spice. Jet black with no head. Big smoky, peaty, meaty and a Woody smokey finish. Edgy and a bit harsh, but interesting and the smoke is nice.

Bottle @ koelschtrinker Tasting: sehr dunkelbraune/schwarze Farbe, kein Schaum. Geruch sehr alkoholisch, sprittig, holzig, reife Früchte. Geschmack extrem süß malzig, Karamell, übertrieben alkoholisch, extrem schwer zu trinken.

Bottle, thx to yespr. A dark brown beer, clear, without head. Oily pour. Soy sauce, alcohol and some licorice. Dark rye bread maybe. The flavor is alcoholic, with soy sauce, licorice, dark rye bread and lots of sweetness. Oily, full-bodied and warming. Lasting finish with lots of alcohol. Sort of pleasant, sort of unpleasant. Still, I think the pleasant aromas and flavors win. 120218
