Poured from bottle dated 2/21 #1064 murky grapefruit juice with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit citrus pith resinous pine. Taste is nothing like aroma and is dominated by bitter pine and grapefruit pith. It’s not bad but not their best.

On tap at Singlecut Beersmiths, Astoria, New York, USA. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, pine aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, pine.

Tap into a snifter showing hazy bright yellow with sparse white foam. The nose shows strong intense resinous pine and sharp citric notes of pineapple. The palate is full bodied and moderately carbonated. Same strong flavors of resinious pine but fades quickly with the same quickly fading moderately sharp IPA bitterness. Overall, great intense flavors for a session but flavors fade a bit quick as expected for a session IPA.

4 oz pour on draft at Hazel. Murky orange with off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus, light floral. Tastes of juicy grapefruit citrus, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice juicy session.

Tap at Lost Borough. Very cloudy pastel pale yellow, like grapefruit juice. Lace. Sweaty, salty hop nose, tropical fruit, grapefruit, grapes. Very catty, bitter flavor, salty as well, a lot of Nelson in here I would guess. Big and thick body with very tangy hops. Great fruit and spice. Malt gives a bit of biscuit. Very nice.

This is my idea of a ’Light IPA’ - 5% abv! Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a copper glow and a ridiculously large six centimetre tall pure white, soapy head. Aroma of grass, soap, yeast, light bread and quite a bit of tropical fruit sweetness. Light to Medium-bodied; Mellow malts up front, but a large soap presence along with a bunch of grassy and herbal hops coupled with a faint sweetness and some light yeast complexities on the tail end. Aftertaste is nice and rounded, but a good balance and nice kick compared to other beers in the style. Overall, this is a nice IPA and bridges the gap of Light IPA and normal IPA, but this is a good average drinking beer if you want a bit more hops. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 27-November-2015 for US$5,99 sampled at home in Washington on 14-April-2016.

Draft at Tanner Smith's in Midtown, 11/13/15. It pours a rather hazy orange color. Aroma and flavor have some fruity hops and some pale and toasted malt notes. Not watery and easy drinking at a lowish ABV. Solid overall. I enjoyed it.

Bierleichen, Queens tap: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Taste is fruity and not too hoppy but with enough. Not too blatantly a session ipa either. Light sweetness and slightly dry at the finish. It ok.

Pours rather clear blonde , small white head . Smell is slightly Nelson . Taste is bitter , fresh , some Nelson . Some bitterness . Citrussy aspect
