Poured from the tap @ MBCC 2023 (finally adding my notes). Very dark brown with small tan head. Slightly nutty with a bit of chocolate notes.

Tap @MBCC2023, Yellow Session. Oily black, small brown head. Heavy dark malty aroma, strong bourbon and barrel. Sweet flavour, boozy bourbon, choc, dark malt.

Draught @ MBCC 2023. Heavy with barrel notes, some bourbon, toffee, syrup and roastiness.

Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday morning session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, Brian, and Erik. A bit harsh and not nicely balanced. Black chocolate. Still good.

On tap at MBCC 2023, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out a strange smoky bourbon barrels, earthiness and ash. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense smoky bourbon, molasses, and earthiness. Smoky, earthy, somewhat harsh finish. Body is too think, almost gritty. Good but not amazing.
