500th Imperial Stout rating. Bottle thanks to Charles. Pours a motor oil with a small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple, bourbon, chocolate, wood. Syrup mouthfeel, chewy, bourbon, maple, oak, dark chocolate, so impressed by this one.

Woodshed 3.0! Big thanks to dak for saving this whole series and sharing with us. Awesome!! Bottle pours with a dark looking body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, brown sugar sweetened dark roasted malts, marshmallow and smooth bourbon. The taste delivers smooth goodness in the form of lots of residual sugars, chocolate, dark roasted malts, dark roasted coffee, smooth sweet bourbon booze and then more chocolate. This is smooth, richly sweet and just yummy.

Bottle # 847. Dark brown pour with fleeting light brown head. Fantastic chocolate nose. Delicious with loads of chocolate, carmel, bourbon, and oak notes. Sweet, but not overly so. Outstanding mouthfeel with a good body. Would never know this is 15%. Bravo…..

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured thick, black and oily with a small foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, chocolate and bread dough. The flavor was sweet and malty chocolate syrup, strong coconut, faint vanilla and anise. Very long sweet chocolate syrup and coconut finish. Full bodied. Fantastic.
