16oz growler from Superstar Beverage Huntington. Pours a clear, dark orange with some sudsy white head. Nose is heavy with pine, smells very sticky, orange juice that got stuck to the counter, soap, grapefruit, some candy. Flavor is similarly sticky, candy sweetness, some clear malt, orange, grapefruit, pine, soap. Sticky finish. Fairly drinkable though. Quite nice.

Tap at the Stagshead. Pours amber brown with nice enough aromas of sweet hops. tastes lightly hoppy, malty, caramel, and citrus. warm boozy finish but unfortunately this was so cloyingly sweet on palate that i had trouble finishing it.

Keg at City Swiggers, NYC. Cheers, Sander! Pours rich, ruby-gold with a frothy, white head. Big pine and ripe citrus aroma. Big sweet flavor, heavily resinous with more pine, ripe grapefruit. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm finish with lots of sticky sugars, pine, berries. Not bad. It isn’t a subtle DIPA by any means, but it gets the job done.

Lucky Dog, Brooklyn tap ($5): Pours light brown with an off-white head. Aroma is perfectly fine: citrus, pine, and caramel malt. I have, however, a problem with the taste. This is pretty cloyingly sweet. If you like beers that taste like sugar balls, then this beer is perfect for you. There was not enough hop character. I am really not like this beer.

On tap. Pours with a golden orange hued body with a fully lasting, white head that leaves solid lace. Aromas are hoppy, spicy, citrus, pine, grassy, with minimal malt character but a mild fusel note. Flavors are boozy, citrus, tangerine. Thankfully decently dry but there is an odd note of rubber cement. Medium bubbles, medium to fuller bodied. Very warming.
