Maximator is the most intense of the Amsterdam range of beers. It’s a bottom-fermented Dutch lager weighing in at 11.6% ABV. The power and the intensity of its flavour make it Amsterdam's benchmark beer.
Conceived by the Amsterdam master brewer following the success of Navigator, it broadens the range, whilst faithfully conserving the maritime tradition inspired by the brand’s heritage.

0,5 l can. Pours clear golden with big, rocky medium lasting and quite loud white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is weird, sweet, apples, plenty of alcohol, somewhat stale, cardboard with a bit of cabbage. Taste is heavy sweet and low bitter. Body is full, carbonation lively. Finish is very long, starts sweet and as sweetness fades heavy metallic bitter aftertaste sets in and lasts a while. Not good at all.

Pite z puszki. Zapach ciężki, jabłka, skórki, rozpuszczalnik, alkohol, stare słody. Smak dość słodki, pełne, jasne stare słody, jabłka, silny destylat, stęchła woda, stara szuflada na sztućce. Goryczka umiarkowana tępa, alkoholowa, łuskowa, jabłkowa, długa. W ustach mulace, ciężkie, grzeje. Nasycenie umiarkowane

500ml. can. @Night Train. Amsterdam - Munich. [3.857 Global - #257 Netherlands - #6 Grolsche Bierbrouwerij Ned.] Drinking from the can, like a pro. A drunk pro. Aroma: Spiced malts, yeast and cabbage. Taste: Metallic and grainy. Light sweet and lot of booze. Perfect for a night train ride. Next one please!

Gylden brun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter karamell, sirup og alkohol. Søt. Smaker lys karamell, noe honning og alkohol. Lang.

Sweet beer with a strong taste abundant with alcohol. Bought in a liqueur barn at the Dutch/Belgian border. Cheap canned beer, that tastes almost the same as Grolsch Kanon. Probably the same beer. I have deducted some points from Kanon because it is canned.

clear dark golden colour, one inch of dense, stable white head; aroma and taste of caramel or sugar syrup, , some dried fruits (mainly apricot and mainly felt in the aroma) and alcohol (which is surprisingly not that intensive as expected)...well, at least it is drinkable (which is not typical in the case of lager beers with more than 10% ABV)

Can from Carrefour Destreland in Guadeloupe. Clear bright yellow color white coca cola head. Aroma of light herbs. Taste is boozy straw. No thanks

First time I tried this one was on a School trip to Paris. Great fun night with this beer :D Now I revisited it. 500ml can. Pours clear golden. Taste is heavy boozy grainy sweetness. No character. Drinking great :D
