1849 is a very hoppy ale brewed in a very traditional way with a pleasant subtle after-taste.

Straight from the bottle. Aroma and taste: toast, caramel, bread, floral and spicy hop. Light sweet start, dry ending. Light to medium bitterness. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: good bitter.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Poured deep amber to brown colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, light roasting, caramel, hop and yeast. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, watery/oily texture, soft to average carbonation.

Dobre piwo o miedziano herbacianej barwie, prawie bez piany. W smaku prazone orzeszki, karmel i spora dawka goryczki. Wytrawne i solidnie gozkie. Nice One.

Color caoba. Limpia. Abundante espuma ocre, bastante cremosa. Aroma poco marcado. Buen punto de gas en la boca, poco cuerpo. Ligera. Sabor contenido, pero realmente agradable. Tostado muy malteado. Buen punto entre dulce y amargo, y ligeramente especiado y un punto picante. Buena ale.

500ml bottle from Asda. Amber with off white head. Malty and caramel aroma. Bitter with a bitter finish.

Bottle. Aroma lightly fruity, light chocolate, very light coffee. Clear amber to brown colour. Taste is nicely balanced, initially malty with caramel and roasted, then turns English bitter. Quite enjoyable, refreshing.

Bottle, kindly donated by Miro, many thanks.Dark red amber color with medium white head. Caramel malt, red fruits in aroma. Fruity taste, caramel, light hoppy bitterness in finish. Good.

Bottled 500ml. -at Cervecería Oldenburg-Hermana Mayor, Madrid. Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, pleasant nutty nose. Toasted malt, caramel and light nutty with notes of dried fruits in the finish. Simple and nice.

Clear copper brown ale with a small head. Has a sweet toffee-like aroma and similar sweet flavours in an ale which feels pleasant and smooth in the palate.
