Mining the deepest darkest depths of our malt knowledge, we have endeavoured to create a chocolatey monster of a beer. Double mashed, with a complex malt bill including three different types of chocolate malts, along with crystal rye, wheat and oats. Drink young or age, this beer will develop over time.

Can at home, from an online peddler of whose name escapes me, 21/04/22. Black with a good sized tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, spice, charr, umami, light varnish, toffee fudge, molasses, chocolate. Taste comprises cocoa powder, dates, raisins, dried fruit rinds, molasses, toasted brown sugars, toffee fudge, light charr. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Solid straight up impy stout.

Draft split with Craig. Dark brown pour, oily, skimpy head. Aroma is a rich, dark roasty malts, light notes of chocolate and coffee. Taste stays focused on the roasty malts, bringing a light sweetness and a heap of bitterness. Smooth, slick.
