Tap at Borefts 2019: Clear dark amber colored brew with an over-the-top sour taste, hints of wine vinegar, lemon and other tart tasting fruits. But that wine vinegar ruled the beer, in an good way because i like it personally.

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Hazy pale yellow color, no head. Smell and taste both are too acidic sour for me. Really can't deal with this kind of sour unripe fruits.

Pours dark mahoniebrown. No head at all. Smell is typical alvinne, tart, funk, very oaky, vinegar. Taste is intense, bit dry, very acetic ( too acetic, for sure ) , dry finish. Noticable alcohol, especially at this ABV. The rediculous acetic level makes this beer, much like brexit itself, very hard to swallow. and much like brexit, it might be entertaining for a small while, but towards the end, it's a bit of a burden.

Hij spoot bij het openen niet tegen het plafond, dus dat is voor een Alvinne al een meevaller. Zuur, wel aardig, maar ben blij dat ie met meerdere personi gedeeld wordt.

On tap at The Scrapyard. Hazy deep reddish brown colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of sour cherries, lemon, acid, wood, light funk, smells like a proper Flemish Red. Flavour is sour, lemon, cherries, wood, acid, hint of brown sugar, berries, caramel, sour finish. Light to medium bodied. Supposedly very sour, perhaps it was the patatje oorlog I had just before counterbalancing it, but I thought this was a tasty and well-balanced Flemish Red.
