Black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma full of pine with softer, chocolate undertones. Taste is bitter, full of resin and burnt, roasted tones. More pine and a licorice excursion at the finish. Body to the full side of medium, moderate carbonation. Dry throughout. Great BIPA disguised as a bock.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Small head. Starts fine malty, shy roasty touch. More and more hoppy notes, mild bitterness. Herbal notes as well. Warming alcoholic finish. Quite interesting!

Buddel (330ml): Very deep ruby-amber coloured, presumably hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head, moderate to solid bitter-sweet nose of toasted malt, dried berries and herbal-floral hops; pretty solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering dryish toasty and nutty finish with a robust hoppy aftertaste. Bottle drunk watching the finale of a Maisel season, beer required in this case. Brown with a big head. Nice hoppy nose, in fact it's across between a black IPA and a dark Bock. Roasted notes, caramel, just a hint of earthy citrusy hops. Good stuff.

Deutlich hopfiger Beginn mit gleichzeitig dunklen Röstaromen. Zitrus, Rosinen, deutliche Bitterkeit, dabei auch zunehmend trocken. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, stark hopfiger Abgang. Gut! 10/11/11/11/12/11
