Wenn die Leidenschaft zum Brauen vereint: Gemeinsamen mit unseren Freunden von der Deschutes Brewery haben wir ein vollmundiges Zwickl gebraut. Die einzigartige Komposition aus unserem Bitburger Siegelhopfen aus dem Herzen der Eifel sowie den amerikanischen Aromahopfen-Sorten Citra und Mosaic, die in Yakima (USA) angebaut werden, verleiht unserem Bitburger Dry Hop’d Zwickl dabei seinen fruchtig-hopfigen Geschmack. So gut kann Freundschaft schmecken!

Tap. Amber, cream head. Breadcrust, some berries, oranges. Clean, briefly rich, orange and spiced bitter finish. Fair enough.

Not great; the hoppy bitterness overpowers the traditional zwickelbier notes, leaving a bifurcated pint, half lager fruitiness, half piney bitters, with no unifying element tying the two halves together. Overcarbonated texture doesn’t help. Not horrible, but nothing worth seeking out. Definitely more Bitburger than Deschutes.

500 ml can. Hazy, orange gold pour. Rocky beige head. Grainy, bready, honeyish malt aroma. Flavor is sweet, bready malt. Herbal hops lean toward grass and mild spice. Some lemony notes, as well. Tasty.

Can split at DS, picked up from HOTM online IIRC, 29/09/22. Almost clear golden amber with a just off white head. Nose is bready and pale malts, light floral notes, grains, cereals. Taste comprises pale malts, sweet tones, bread dough, caramel, herb, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refresher.

330ml can bought at Piccadilly Tap, shared with Finn on a train from Manchester bound for Nottingham. Lacing rings from a bubbly, white head, orange body, clear. Grain-citrus nose. Similar taste of grain, noble hops, and orange . Ends with dough and fruits. Pretty good.(11.10.2022).

Delt med Rune på tog mellom Manchester & Nottingham. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Karamellaroma. Smaken også karamell - med hint av frukt.Tørr bitter avslutning.

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of pure malts, sun-kissed pale grains, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More rich pale grains to finish. Enjoyable.

Can at the columbus tasting 29/09/2022. Thanks to Colin. A light hazed deep orange coloured pour with a lively beige head. Aroma is cereal grains, nutty, light pine, grassy hop, . Flavour is composed of nutty cereal, grassy, light pine. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate mellow carbonation.
