Way thicker, but just as drinkable as your morning coffee! Fresh coffee aroma, with notes of chocolate and hazelnuts due to the Brazilian origin and the perfect roasting of the coffee. Intertwined you have complex notes of caramel, vanilla and maple, which shows their presence more clearly in the aftertaste and after letting the beverage breathe a bit. The two different vanilla varieties helps cream up the mouthfeel and amplifies the caramel and chocolate notes already present.
*There is both real maple syrup and a very light touch of maple extract in this beer*

Can from the House of Trembling Madness. Black with a barely-there tan head. Fruity up front - dried fruit, especially raisins. Mocha comes through with some nuts. It's decent but it's not wow-ing me. At least it's a new region.

330ml can from Left Field Beer. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aroma is coffee, liquorice, treacle, maple syrup, dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, black coffee, maple syrup, boozey. Medium bitter finish. Full bodied. Didn’t really enjoy it, but was expecting something pastry-ish and accessible.

33cl can. Vasa tasting. Poured almost black in color. Very sweet with loads of coffee, red berries, chocolate and some nutty notes. On the sweeter side.

Can (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour with small brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, liquorice, chocolate and some mild nutty tones. Flavour is liquorice, some chocolate and some mild alcohol and some syrupy tones. Some coffee tones in the finish.

Dark brown colour, tiny brown head. Aroma has coffee, a bit stuffy. Medium-bodied. Sweet ashy coffee and alcohol. Some vanilla. Too sweet.

14/1/2023. Can at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours black with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, liquorice, molasses, coffee, vanilla, maple syrup. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. full bodied, sticky, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, dried fruit, dark fruit, roasted, dark malt, maple syrup.
