An exceptional beer, in collaboration with Le Motel. We dug into his musical inspiration of the indigenous people of South American and the Caribbean. Guava derives from the Arawak word "Guayabo" and balances out this sour beer together with the hops for tropical and citrusy notes on a base of refreshing acidity. Low in alcohol, very drinkable and with a nice body, the guava matches really well with sourness, giving an extra sour layer of from the fruit itself, also giving it some sweet notes and tropicality.

Tried @ Bar Le Matin, Brussels. Guava sour. Colour is fruity yellow (like mango), cloudy. White head, immediately disappearing. Aroma is piney hops rather than (tropical) fruit. Retronasal there's sour fruit and piney hops. Flavour is moderate sour, guave, sour fruit, with a pinch of salt. Light bodied. Finishes slightly dry, lightly bitter. Quite pleasant.
