Sample at SBWF 2013. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and some dark fruit. The finish had some warming alcohol.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and chocolate. Thick malty and dark chocolate. Bitter and dark dry finish.

Draft. A black beer with a rim od brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, chocolate, and soy sauce, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
