Tap at Pikkulintu. Dark clear ruby color, small off-white head. Odd yeasty aroma, some caramel. Medium-bodied. Caramel, musty yeastyness, berries. Homebrewish.

Tap@Kustaa Vaasa, Helsinki. Red brown, amber colored beer with medium head. Toffee, malts and bread on the aroma. Taste has same feelings with lots of toffee and bread. Enjoyable, easy to drink.

(Keg at Tommyknocker, Helsinki, 201505013) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and mildy grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sugary sweetness, molasses, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramell, toasted malts and bitterness. A brew leaning on the too sweet side of the amber ales. More hops would have brought in pleasant edginess, perhaps.

Tap @ Black Door. Deep amber, thick off white head. Herbal, fruity, floral aroma. Flavor has gooseberries, grapefruit, herbs. Hoppy stuff, but not the most refreshing perhaps.

Draught @ Tommyknocker, Helsinki Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of hops, some berries, caramel and toffee. Taste is smooth, malty and caramely with some fruits, berries and toffee. Finish is crisp, malty and sweetish with hints of hops and berries. Doesn?t feel very fresh, which is a bit strange considering how new the brewery is.

Draught @ The Gallows Bird. Aroma has strong sweet malty notes, fruits, some resin and sweet berries. Flavour has resiny malt, menthol, some berries and caramel. Finishes a bit unpleasant with menthol, grapefruit and gooseberry bush tones. Slightly bready. Aroma was promising but the flavour is not that good; the finish ruins the show.
