Aged sample Medium, reasonably stable darker cream head over red-shot black beer. Coffee with a shot of orange brandy; bit ashy, coffeesweets. Dry, ashy stout; chocolate, and of course, coffee. Not very bitter, mild roast. Not really big bodied, if a bit viscous. Soft carbonation. Age hardly shows. Good stout. Txs to Stef!

Draft. A black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troublesโ€™s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Aroma of roast, nuts, coffee, a bit of fruitiness, minerals. Rather dry flavor, roasty, with nuts, coffee, minerals. Light to medium-bodied, lively carbonation. Decent.

Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma is somewhat lactic with licorice and hay. Very foamy palate. Flavour has gooseberry bush, lactic acid, some licorice and hints of ash. Feels rather tart and acidic. These sour & dark beers are just not my thing.
