Fionn is a modern, New-World-style DIPA, extremely pale with a focus on late and dry hop addidions to create an intensely fruity IPA. The absence of oats or lactose allows some bitterness to shine through allowing for a more balanced, moreish finish. Intense citrus and tropical fruits dominate the flavour and aroma. A lush backbone of Irish pale malt supports the heavy hop bill creating a well-balanced finish that leans towards bitter.

A sip courtesy of YantarCoast. Hazy yellow ale with a well-looking head. Aroma: all kind of citrus and tropical fruit, New World hops. Medium body. Taste: fruity, juicy, moderately sweet and bitter. Nice ale.

Growler from freebeer in the Hague. Pours a very hazy yellow with very little head, but that may be the growler. Aroma is hoppy and refreshing, with a bomb of citrus fruit: mostly lemon and orange zest, some marmalade notes. Medium body. The flavour profile is hazy IPA/NEIPA with enhanced bitterness. Medium to high bitterness is nicely balanced by a crisp and clean malt backbone. Again very intense citrus fruitiness, again with accentuated lemon. Some herbal hops notes come through in a surprisingly long finish, with the warmth being the only revealing factor for the relatively high abv. An excellent bitter hazy IPA, for someone who likes lemon and citrus fruit like me just the right thing. Highly recommended, a very good beer.

Hazy yellow beer, white head. Grassy hop and tropical fruit aroma. taste is dry hops, grapefruit, lemon, a little resinous pine. Nothing massively complex but a good tasty IPA with a few really distinct flavours and a nice bittersweet finish.
