Cask condition gravity dispense at Egham BF Autumn 2010. Very deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Roasted aroma. Full in the mouth. Extremely impressive. Good finish. Tasty well balanced and really good juicy jammy fruit. Very good.

Cask at CP&K on 8th February 2011. Thick dark brown with tiny dying head. Spicy aroma and touches of fruit and malt. Textured, initially gritty mouthfeel. In-mouth tastes are of spice, alcohol, coffee, chocolate and vineous notes. Chocolate nose late then smoky spicy aftertaste, after which texture smooths out. Pleasant, interesting porter.
