Got in a BIF from Dragginballs76. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/11/2018. Pours moderately hazy reddish/pinkish orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, tangerine, orange juice, pineapple, coconut, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, marshmallow, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, tangerine, orange juice, pineapple, coconut, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, tangerine, orange juice, pineapple, coconut, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, marshmallow, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an amazing fruited milkshake sour! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, marshmallow, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. Tastes 100% like ambrosia fruit salad as intended. Extremely juicy/jammy fruits; balanced Lacto, flavorings, lactose, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing experimental style example. They nailed everything.
