On tap at MBCC '19, Green session. Near black in the glass, low beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Cocoa powder on the nose. Spiced cocoa flavours joined by berry tartness. Sweet and tart malt-berry end. Medium bodied. Satisfying without further excitements. (Copenhagen 11.05.2019).

On tap. Pours a very dark reddish brown with light foamy head. Light aromas of vinous oak and dry roasted malts. Flavors of dark cherries, dusty chocolate, plum skins and more vinous oak.

Draft. A hay deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe berries, wood, and brett. The flavor is sour with notes of brett, wood, and over ripe berries, leading to a tart finish.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Black colour. Strong aroma of dark chocolate. Dry mouthfeel, a bit earthy and dusty, sour; after being told, yes there's some elderflower. Astringent finish.
Uncoordinated mix, the elements don't come together.

Dark brown, maybe veering towards amber. Thin head. Woody tart nose, light balsamic, and the coffee blends well with the assertive fruitiness. This is an interesting brew, with a lot of dimensions.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bright cocoa powder upfront, with lots of spices, and tart red fruits. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with an unusual mix of cocoa, spices and tart red fruits, with some nice vinous, woody character to round things out. Lots of different things going on here, but it works. Very nice.

Draft at Salud Bottle Shop. Clear maroon color small light tan head. Aroma of berries and gigs. Taste is balsamic vinegar. Maybe it's time for me to give up on Cascade since all their beers lately seem very acetic. And the price point is pretty shocking.
