Cask at Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. A light golden perry with no head. The aroma has notes of pears as well as light notes of wood. The flavor is very sweet with both notes of apples? and pears, leading to a dry finish.

Cask@O’Haras, Tampere. Pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is pear, sour wood, mild vinegary notes as well as some alcohol. Flavour is quite identical. Rather dry palate. Has some apples showing in it as well in the finish.

At the cider festival, the Royal Oak, Bath 13/06/09. This was at 7.5% ABV. This was the palest drink I have rated - it was vaguely green and looked like a weak elderflower drink with a slight haze. Big dessert pear aroma. Very easy drinking with sweet pear juice to the fore, giving way to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask (handpump) @ Marble Arch Inn, 73 Rochdale Rd, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 4HY.
Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is green pear, flowers, rubber. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090121]

Bag in a box at Ship & Mitre April Fest 08. Very pale green/gold. Nail varnish remover aroma. But in the mouth, completely different. Sweet, kiddie’s sweet, raspberry and pear. Just a bit too sweet. A bit of sharpness on finish. 7.0% ABV
