12 fl.oz can from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A very dark brown beer with a mid-sized good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted coffee, earh, dark malt, some chocolate. taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and liquorice. Oily mouthfeel.

Can 355ml (Beer Republic, no BB date) Opaque brown colour, small brownish head. Aroma has lots of fresh coffee, toasted notes, maybe some alco breeze. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty coffee overload. Some dark chocolate. Alcohol is there, body is perhaps a bit light for its ABV. I like the coffee they use. Interesting that they use only Magnum here, so in mainly only bitterness, no fruity or any other hop flavours.

The Aromas are coffee minerals roast and dark malt. Flavors are like nose sweet upfront changing to bitter for a medium-length finish coffee at the end. The mineral changes to metallic with good carbonation and body although perhaps a touch thin for an imperial.

On tap at Urge Gastropub & Whiskey Bank, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich roasted malt, espresso and dark cocoa. Flavour is very rich and roasty, with espresso and rich roasted malt. Rather bitter but pleasantly so. Excellent.

On tap at the brewery pours dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is nice coffee chocolate and some ash. Tatse is more of the nice sweet malts some coffee.
