Cask-conditioned as "Abolition Ale" at the Seven Stars, Bristol 1//0509. If there is ever a case for rebadging, I guess this must be it. The anti-slavery campaigner Thomas Clarkson apparently received much assistance from the landlord of this pub whilst investigating the Bristol part of the slave trade. That aside, this was a decent amber session bitter, with some fruit and a bitter finish. Good.

Cask. Amber colour with mediumsized creamy beigeish head. Aroma is sweet fruits, some nectar wood and mildly soapy notes. Flavour is wooden, nutty and some mild notes of grassyness. Refreshing.

Clear amber color, creamy off-white head. Toffeish, perfumic nose with hints of wood. Watery. Light nutty hoppy notes and some sweetness. Aftertaste has some bitterness. Bland session ale.
